To ensure that Tensile Fabric Ltd is compliant with the changes to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) we have updated our Privacy, Information and Confidentiality Policy. This policy explains how we plan to use and protect your personal data.

When you enquire with us, we store your contact details on our CRM system. We use this information to correspond with you only by email, post or telephone as appropriate.

The data we store may include part or all of the following information:

• Company name
• Trading address and invoice address, if different
• Site addresses for works carried out
• Email addresses, telephone numbers and job titles for contacts within your business
• Website address

We do not hold any personal information on health, dates of birth, race, sexual orientation, religion or political beliefs. Any breaches of information would therefore be considered low risk. We have never had a data breach to date, and we do safeguard any sensitive data as reasonably practicable.

We do not share or sell any of the above information with outside parties.

Mailing list – we have removed all opt-outs and non-replies from our GDPR mailing. We continue to add all new contacts but make it very clear that they have been added as they have enquired about our products and services and that they can easily unsubscribe at any time.

General correspondence – we will assume that you are happy for us to continue to correspond with you in the usual manner regarding projects that you have enquired about or that have become actual jobs, unless you let us know otherwise.

Cookies – cookies are a small text file placed on your computer or device when visiting our website. They are used to ensure correct website operation, save preferences and track website interaction.
